Default hmmmm plastic vs metal

ok might already be on here but didnt find it. with x-mas coming up, thats right x-mas already, i am looking at fender flares.

i know they area alot of brands coming out with there own design. i am unsure to go with metal or plastic. i would think pros of plastic is the price and the flex. So which plastic flare is the most flexable with out breaking and the easiest to install. i would say the pros to metal is the ruggedness. So which is the tuffest and the easiest to install. so no BS if you bought something and you found something better after be honest with me. if you got pics i would like to see any damage to flares from the trails. Any damage from trees, rocks or any other trail damage. THANKS
