Was wondering if anybody has made a bumper out of say, 6" pipe? There was a jeep driving behind me the other day that may have had one. But I didn't get a good look at it. And when I did I thought it just didn't look that good. Was wondering if anybody has built one and might have pics? I ask because I am going to build a bumper hopefully someday soon and I do have some decent pipe laying around.

I saw one once on a pickup. The guy used it for an air tank. Didn't look that great, but sure was functional.

 

I made one for my old Dodge truck. It was 3/8" thick 6" diameter pipe with 1/2" end caps. I used it for an air tank as well.

 

The air tank idea sounds great, but I really want to how it will look. Oh well, guess nobody else has one. No biggie.....
