Hi All, new to the forum, been searching the web trying to find some info on the location measurements of the rubicon hood sticker on the jk's and im having no luck, i don't have a Rubi, however i wanted to add a little originality to my jeep by adding an "unlimited" hood decal, i did the same thing on my 98 sahara and it looked great. so im hoping someone here might point me in the right direction to the correct measurements, Thanks!!

 

Check out pixel decals, you can design any word(s) where the Rubicon decal would normally go. Just center it front and back and slap it on.

 

It looks like it's about a half an inch up from the bottom edge of the hood and centered between the hood latch and the back edge of the hood.

You could run by the dealer with a tape measure and measure it or maybe someone with a Rubi will chime in with the location specs.

It does look like the decal is centered between the hood latch and edge of the hood, however i don't know how far up from the bottom edje of the hood the decal is, not to mention my OCD is gonna want this thing perfect..

 

yea, i think my next step is a ride by the dealer if no one chimes in

 

Someone already chimed in and gave you the answer. Re-read his post. He said 1/2 up from the edge, centered between the hood latch and cowl.

 

I dont know man, when someone starts off with "looks like", makes me wonder, I appreciate the help, however i'd feel better with some actual numbers, luckily my dealer is 10 min down the road, gonna take a ride tomorrow

 

1/2 inch up centered between the latch and top of hood is correct
