I think it is Rugged Ridge, but I got mine off e-bay for twentyish dollars, and both times at the dealership, I was in the waiting room for around twenty minutes, and the tech would come in and ask me to open the hood.

I got the Rugged Ridge one too, it was about $25 shipped brand new from a site that I'm not sure I can mention....but it works real well, there's no way I'd spend $100+ on a hood lock.

I've seen the Rugged Ridge locks under $20, but what I really need is a hood lock that can work with grill inserts.

Do these hood locks actually lock securely ?

I read a post on here a while back that some could be easily preyed open despite being installed properly.

I guess either nobody has one or they don't want to show it off.

I'm curious to see how and where that little bracket is installed as well.
