Default Horn Mod

Who has added a horn ? air horn ? or otherwise...

What have you done to hook it up ? how do you go about moding it...

I want a serious horn because on long island people dont get the point with the stock beep beep (that has now turned into eeerrerrppppp due to mudding)

anyone who can offer some ideas or some cool spin offs is welcome

I wish air horns were legal here... only on commercial vehicles.

That is nuts. Do you use that tank for other things as well?

Airing up after an air down. Gotta change my compressor though, that ones about 6 yrs old and about to die, it overheats easily. Have a new one to install, just been lazy. Also, that's a 6 gal tank.

I mounted a big old truck horn, attached it to the inside of the hood on a bracket I fabricated then mounted the original horn behind that.

I put a relay in and it activates from the original horn wires. Added some serious oomph to the original.

Took my old black take off shocks and low end stock springs to the junk yard and traded for two big truck horns and a pair of Chrysler twin horns.

i installed a WOLO specialty horn. its the old school ooga sounding one. You should checkout the Wolo website they have a lot to choose from and comes with electrical instructions. its a nice way to say get the eff outta the way. You wont need a air compressor for most of there products.
