Good to hear I was kinda nervous when I first hooked it up because it was a lot bigger then the stock one so I wasn't sure if it would blow the fuse. But then the box said stock drop in capable. The have one that functions at 400 hz and the other at 500hz. I think I bought the one that is 400hz because it said big rig sound on the box

I had the PIAA's on my last truck and I did not use the relay. I spliced the piggybacked off the stock wiring (+,-) and they worked fine.

Depending on where you decide to mount them, you can either use flex steel brackets ($.79 @ Home Depot) or 3M double sided molding tape since these dont weigh much.

On my JK, I have the Hella's - one mounted behind the headlight (stock location) and the other one down by the frame.

As for mud / water protection, I've submersed the lower one and it still works.

Just curious, How has your new horn system handled the deep mud/water crossings mounted in the lower portion of your grill? Any issues?
