Default Horrible clunk diagnosis help :/

So me and the dealership thought it was my front trackbar because my bushing was shot. Today I had my new synergy trackbar, draglink flip kit, and fox steering stabilizer...it drives great, but to my horror the first bump I hit...same sound :(. I was happy when I thought it was just a trackbar, now I'm getting nervous it's something more serious? Help me out

Maybe a long shot but.....maybe your intermediate steering shaft needs some lube. In your case it might me extreme steering clunk.

I had it when I made lane changes on the highway you could feel the clunk in the steering wheel and break pedal.

There's a write up here on JKF I used to to get the dealer to fix my issue under warranty...gosh 65,000km ago

Good luck

Double check the torque on all your control arm bolts.

I crawled under my Jeep a few months ago because I was getting some noises and it turned out just about every bolt holding the armor on was loose.

I figured out what it is. The piece that goes inside of the spring, that a bump stop it's, came out and you can just spin it around in your hands. I placed it back down where it's supposed to go but I'm sure it will pop right back out. I'll have to figure out how to fix it

Id rather not, they get pretty mangled and would be hard to take out if lock tited and the heads were messed up.

Cant tell from the pic. Some bumpstop extensions add to the top and some add to the bottom. If its the kind that adds to the bottom there should be a bolt that goes through the middle. Im not sure what holds in the kind that extend from the top.
