Default How Bad

How bad are 35's on stock gears. I dont have the money to buy new gears now but got a new lift and am getting new rubber. Is there a big difference in 33s over 35s?

Ive been running 35" tires for 54000 miles on my 2010, w/ 6spd and my only complaint would be no 6th gear while in the hills or mountains.
After the bumpers mods and winch it added some weight but I deal with it! As much as I want other mods like quick discos and lights I am saving for gears now!

Depends on what your "stock" gear ratio is. Could be 3.21, 3.73, or 4.10.

Big difference between 3.21 and 4.10.

From everything I've read you're not going to be too happy with 3.21's and 35's... Are you auto or manual?

Auto's come with 3.73's. I had 3.21's. They sucked with 32" tires. I can't imagine how bad they would be with 34-35" tires.

It's gonna suck. But ya know what? You can live with it until you get around to gearing. And in the end, you will be much happier with the 35's than with 33's.

That's what I'm thinking as long as I can get down the road I'm good. I didn't get a wrangler to go fast.
