How capable is this set up off road???
How capable would a 2015 JKUR with a teraflex leveling kit and stock wheels with spacers be? I am out in Las Vegas and Utah area. Don't rock crawl but do like to take some moderate easy to moderate trails in Utah.
Thanks

That is a capable vehicle right off the dealers lot.
Adding a leveling kit will give a bit more belly clearance, but shouldn't make it any more or less capable. The wheel spacers with give a wider stance, and should offset the slight height increase.

I do same type of trails i.e. maze district, elephant hill in needles, easy trails in death valley, etc. I decided to do a 2.5 lift on my JKUR even though on stock 32s simply for better break-over. For what I do, wasn't looking for any additional flex over stock as lockers provide all the traction I need. The long wheelbase was my concern as approach and departure clearance have been fine. Will go to 33 inch tires when stock wear out.
Go out and have a ball. You don't **need** to spend a dime extra, though carrying some recovery gear is always a good idea (along with having a buddy). You never know what the weather might throw at you. And maybe gusset and sleeve the front axle--washboard roads can be hard on it. You may also want to add some comfort and convenience items: A fridge is a nice luxury. A drawer or set of drawers and maybe an interior rack let you better organize and access your gear. Select electronic goodies can offer you great topo maps, if you need that. A dual-battery can prove useful if you wander off to remote places, especially if you spend a few days somewhere and need that battery power (say to power that fridge that is keeping your beer cold). But as far as lift/tires/engine tuner/regearing? Not really needed for the trips you describe.
