How come there are no programmers for 2011/2012/
Here's a thread for all of you that are frustrated with the lack of programmers/tuners for 2011 and 2012 models.

What I've heard/read is because they're now using variable encryption algorithms for the communications. I.e. nothing but stock computers can talk to them.
What they need to focus on (instead of hacking the encryption - they won't be able to) is outright replacing/reflashing the stock programming.
Although as long as I can reset my gears/tire sizes and disable warning lights on stuff I overrirde (TPMS, Sway Bar disco) I don't really care about 'reprogramming'.

the computer on the 11 and 12's have proven to be very difficult to crack. i talked to superchips and they've been working on reverse engineering them for sometime now and, while they are hopeful, it will take some time.
