Default How do arb air lockers fail?

I've seen mentions of them blowing "seals".

What happens here, and does it leave the car in a drivable state? Can you drive home on a failed unit?

Thanks.

If it blows a seal it won't lock up . You can still drive it as an open diff.

what he said. ARB lockers work off of compressed air. and if a seal blows all the compression comes out of the seal and the locker acts as an open diff
