For performance your could regear, and use a tuner.. But about the only thing you can do that will be real noticeable is throw a super or turbo charger on there..

I've thought about a super charger but I wasn't sure if they made them compatible for the new 3.6L engine. I've also been looking. For new gears but I don't know which ones would be good a buddy of mine suggested 4:10 gears?

oh, didnt realize you hads a 2012 so no supercharger.. and yes 4.10 gears will work well for your set up, but if you ever going to want to move up to larger tires you are going to want lower gears than 4.10, and then you will spendding money to regear twice.. if i were you i would just deal with it for right now and then if you move up 35s regear then.

^ I agree. I have a '12 JKUR with 4.10 gears and the same lift as yours and am waiting for my 35's which are supposed to be here this friday

You may be ok for a bit with your current gears and 35's, but I think the big factor is whether you have a 6 speed or auto. I've read a lot about 6 speed being a lot more tolerable while being under geared. If you really plan on going to 35's then I would say maybe regear to 4.56 or 5.13 so there's no need to spend money on regearing twice

I am hoping that since I have a 6 speed and the new 3.6l with 4.10's that I wont REALLY need a regear immediately, but we will see soon enough

Just wanted to put out there that I am running 3.73 gears and have a 2012 auto pushing 35s. It still has more get up than my 2012 ever had. They only way I will regear is if I go to 37 or make a big swap to prorock axles. Just wanted to put another opinion out there...

Rock On!

The 3.6L really kicks ass after owning 2 3.8's/automatics. And the 5spd automatic has better gearing too. I have the optional 373s and even with 35's on it now I'm still happy with the power.

After having a '10 6spd with 35's and a superchips tuner, my '12 6spd JKUR running 4:10s and same tire and lift setup is a huge difference. Obviously so far the pentastar has been living up to the hype
