This:

11-3/4" Ball Joint Separator

It may cause a little damage to the rubber sleeve around it but I beat the hell out of mine, tried using a puller and so on for hrs. This took 10 sec.

I had hit my pitman arm a couple times for mine to come out. Pretty hard too

Took me about 50 whacks with a hammer before it finally came off.... I even tried using a long bar coming down from the engine compartment to strike the top of the pin downward (with the nut slightly threaded on) Almost gave up and then it finally came apart.

Why not? Like I said, it might chew the boot up a tiny bit but mine still holds grease fine. If the hammer, and bigger hammer approach isnt working that's the next step.

You want to hit the knuckle the joint goes through, might only take 3 good hits but the impact will break it free, don't hit the actual joint or bar hit the steel with the hole in it
