A new 'stock' driveshaft, or an aftermarket driveshaft with a set of adjustable control arms.

is it safe to assume that your drive shaft is spitting grease from the cv boot? if so, you need to replace it with an aftermarket u-joint style one.

Question

Do I just remove the bolts around the seal and pull it down? Can I just replace the seal? Do I need special seal tools?

you cannot replace just the seal, you would need to replace the whole drive shaft and they aren't cheap.

The joint on your driveshaft failed. It is not serviceable, and needs to be replaced before it loses all the grease and seizes.

Depends on which type you get. Factory or aftermarket 'factory replacement', it's just bolts. Simple swap. If you get one with new flanges, there is a writeup in the writeups area. (there is an index stickied to the top of the area)
