Default How to fix a squeeky warn tire carrier

So I put the warn elite fr and rear bumpers and carrier on my 12 jku.

The front was great the rear made noise everytime you breathe.

There is a new bolt.in the.install that you have to remove the body mount to put it in. When the bolt is out grind a 1/4" or more off one side of the 4" diam washer. This will keep the new bolt from rubbing on the washer. Without this the dam thing squeeks like mad.

Now the rear carrier is a nice addition. I was about to rip it off and trash it lol

Can you grease the pivot point? Is that the only area making noise or is the entire carrier making noise too?

You can grease it at assembly but that was not the issue. It would make noise just driving down the road. Wasnt an openclose thing

I had the same problem with my M.O.R.E bumper and tire carrier. I replaced the heim joint. Fixed the problem, but no for very long before the second one went out. I ended up having a buddy fabricate a stronger joint. If I were you I would start with replacing the joint with a bigger or better version.
