Default how many PSI you running?

So, i'm running 4 3/4" lift up front and 4" in the rear... i'm getting a wobble and still trying to narrow it down but i think its the tires. Juiced em up from 37 pounds to 42 and its a lot better but not perfect. So how many PSI is everyone with lifts and tires running. Oh by the way, they are a 35x12.50x17 Dick Cepek Mud Country

thanks,
Mike

No really 26. I did a chalk test and at about 26 I get a nice flat footptint and a soft ride. My tires are wearng even. I should add I commut 150 miles a day in my JK. If you do a search you will find that this thread has ben done several times. That is most likely why you are not getting responses.
Hope this helps.

your problem is most likely balance and not air pressure. I am running 33 inch BFG mudders and run at 32 psi, and that is pretty hard. I run them that high just so I don't wear the outside of the tread too bad on cornering.

I had a wobble when mine were new and had a good shop with the good latest computer balancer re-balance. Now they run smooth as a baby's bottom and are still pretty quiet.

Also, as a side note, with 33 inch tires and 17 inch rims, if I air down below about 12 psi I get dirt in the bead and have air leaks. I run 17 psi off road and get decent flex and no bead leaks. I want to go to 35's and a big reason is so I can air down further for better traction off road. The 17 inch rims are killing me for airing down.

Hmm. i tried doing search and couldn't find much info on this. as for balancing i've had the tires powder balanced for a permanent balance, my JK just hates me in the cold... it runs nice and strong, but wobbles, and the drivers door lock likes to stick unless i unlock it twice on the remote. its goofy in the cold

so i guess my new question should be whether to keep the powder balance or go back to lead weight balancing...

I don't know but 42 psi in 35's would just about knock the fillings out of my teeth. I'm running 26 psi in my 34x12 maxxis bighorns and that is where I got the best footprint and ride. I'd forget about the powder, go with the lead weight and lower the pressure.
