Default How Much Lift

I want to be able to drive my jeep on long trips so drivablity is a must. I had pretty much made up my mind on the teraflex 2.5 but the rough country 4 with arms caught my eye. I will only be running 33 inch tires. If you are me what would you do. I don't want to spend more than a grand and will be adding a rr xhd bumper and superwinch epi 9 and am worried about sagging. If I go the the rc 4 will I have driveshaft problems beacuse I have an auto if I get the kit with arms. Any pics of the rc with 33's would also be great. I just don't want to regret going 2.5 if I could have had 4 for a couple hundred more.

You don't need a 4" to run 33" tires, bottom line. I would suggest the TF or OME 2.5" lifts. Both of the 2.5" lifts mentioned will allow you to run 35" tires if you so choose so 33" will be a piece of cake. And you wont have DS issues with a 2.5" kit, plus they are very inexpensive and will probably let you get the lift and bumper for under 1k.

Go with the TeraFlex 2.5 Coil lift. I am running that setup with 33's and I am very pleased with it. You won't be disappointed.

that is exactly what I was thinking. If you are just going to add a spacer though, get the Teraflex "leveling kit". It is like $130 and gives 2" front 1" rear. It looks perfect on 33s and is cheap. Then you havent spent too much on a BB when you are ready for coils. If you got the cash though, get the 2.5" coil lift. It gives about 3" front and 2" rear and looks good with 33s or 35s IMO.

Agreed...4" is too much lift if you plan on only going to 33's. I would do the 2.5" kit.

If you only want 33's, then get the TeraFlex leveling kit $129.99
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/jk-...eling-kit.html

or any of the 2.5" kits.

I have 33's with a 4" lift. 33's look small with a 4" lift. I just don't have any good pics to show this, but here's one you can sort of see the front with.

If you watch this video, at the beginning there is the profile look.

4" long arm

As you can see, if you never plan anything higher than 33's I think it's too much.
