Default How to prevent water come in

The offroad in my area involves a lot of deep water and mud.

The carpet in my JK was soaked several times, so far I just take the carpet
out and dry it. Next time I will remove carpet before I go offroad.

But, is there a way to seal my JK to make it more resistant to water so
less water will come in?

I am not sure where the water came in, can somebody give me a list of
points to check?

have to start with all the body plugs under the carpet, good sealing door and tailgate seals; clean. i'd pull the carpet next time i just see where its getting in first.

You couldn't seal off all of them so don't bother trying. It is not possible. Either stop going deep or get used to having an indoor foot bath.

Don't you think it is a futile attempt to think you could waterproof the Jeep? I believe he might be successful in 'slowing' the onset but no matter what he does it is still going to find a way into the cab.

I've been up to my amber front lights in water on mine. Not a sign of wet carpet after. I was moving and never stopped of course. Thats about as deep as one with a stock air box should think about going.

Yeah, but I believe most are fine until they stop. That is when you are going to have problems.
