Default How to replace front driveshaft slip boot

Like many of you out there, my front driveshaft slip boot is torn. I just saw this on Quadratec.

For $19 it seems like a quick fix. My question is how do I go about installing it. I've never done any work on driveshafts, so the more detailed an explanation the better. Any help would be appreciated.
I understand that eventually I'll need to get a new driveshaft. When I have the money I'll be shopping for a Tom Woods. For now though, $19 seems like the right price. I'm also planning on installing an exhaust spacer to avoid this happening in the future.

I have a 2013 jk 2 door with a rock krawler 2.5" lift and 35's

I haven't actually looked under the boot of a stock driveshaft, but should be like the aftermarkets, just splines on the end of one half that slide into a splined opening on the other half. Remove the shaft and pull the two ends apart. Clean and re-grease. Put the new boot on one side. Then slip them back together.

Or forget the boot and just pull it apart and clean/grease.

Also may not be a bad idea to mark everything so you put it back together and reinstall the same way it came out.

Yes the drive shaft is balanced the way it is so you want to be sure you Do Mark it and put it right back together in the same place.
