Default How to run wires...?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to neatly run wires for fog/driving lights from the top of a Bestop Highrock 4X4 front bumper tubular grill guard through the bumper to the fog light connection wiring. The lighting brackets are on the top corners of the tubular grill guard but there are no holes to run the wires. How do I run them? I thought about drilling the holes for the wiring myself but where the tubular grill guard meets the bumper seems to be closed and I can't fit a drill into the bumper to make a hole to run the wiring.

Any suggestions? Has anyone done this install?

Thanks for ANY help!

No,

I think the only thing I can do is remove the whole bumper, remove the tubular grill guard and drill holes and run wire and then re-install. I'd rather not do all of that.

Here's a link to the bumper:

I have that bumper, so I understand what you're saying, yes I think the best way to do it is the way you're thinking about........ I don't know how else it could be "there are no magical solutions"

wire loom can look nice if done right, or you want it completely hidden

I have a different front bumper, but I did most of my wiring (lights, winch) by removing the grill, it only takes about 2 minutes and gives you alot of room to work and hide wires.

For a clean install that may be the way to go/ or do a wire loom.

I took a look at the bumper today and I found the bolts that remove the tubular grill guard. I'm going to take those out and it should be suffiecient to drill holes to run wires without removing the ENTIRE bumper.

Thanks for the responses guys! I appreciate it.
