How to tighten front axle spacers, without 4x4?

Default How to tighten front axle spacers, without 4x4?

If I had 4x4 my front axle wouldn't spin when i had one wheel on the ground...however, I don't, any suggestions?

I stuck a long punch in a rotor vent. When I tightened, the punch caught on the caliper and prevented the hub from spinning. That was easier then making my wife hold the brakes
