Thanks for the info. I’m going to start putting together a nitro kit for this and eventually gas charged shocks. I’d really like to modify my shock towers so I ca. have taller shocks.

I did add an aluminum plate above my hockey pucks. The noise isn’t as obnoxious now but I’m still getting a small tapping sound. After lifting the bump stops with a pry bar, I can tell the sound is also coming from when the bump stops extend back out. Also, when raising the stops, it’s not a smooth movement. It’s like a ratchety type movement. I’m not sure if this is just a fault of the cheapo dv 8 bumps or not. I recently learned that dv8 ripped off locked offroads design, I will not support that company any longer. If I can’t fix this noise I’ll pull these stops, sell them and replace them with kings.
