Default HyLine OffRoad Product Experiences

Anyone have experience with HyLine OffRoad products? I took on a nice dent at the top of corner of my windshield frame yesterday. It’s not huge, but it aggravates me. Not seeing a whole lot of options to cover this up as most types of armor don’t extend that high…..I’m guessing because manufacturers don’t want to deal with the various curvature of the frame up there. I do see the HyLine OffRoad a-pillar armor though….that it looks like that might do the trick. Not a huge fan of the look (specifically the rounded edges), but better than looking at the dent. Just curious if anyone has purchased any HyLine product and what they thought of it.

Does anyone have a better idea how to cover up that top tip of the windshield bracket. I'd hate to spend $190 on these to cover one little dent, but hate seeing it. Fortunately it's superficial....won't interfere with the top at all.

Well, another guinea pig experiment with this company, these are ordered, will be powder coated to match the rest of my crap, and installed in an effort to mask the damage. I'm hoping they come close to hiding it at least. Another $170 down the drain.

Hyline had a presence on jk freaks and particularly up north. I've wheeled with them at Rausch. They seem like a good crew.

Thanks. I've never run across them before. They appear to be the only ones that want to deal with molding a bracket up around the top of the windshield where it contours. I can see why most manufacturers want to chop the brackets short of that and not deal with the added costs. Guess we'll see how these work out. Will post pictures once their in, coated, and on.

Why not just order some el-cheapo light bar brackets off Amazon and cut the light mounts off and re-paint?

Or, ya know, mount a 50" light bar...

Just hate 50"....and not going back to that. The brackets themselves don't come high enough to cover the dent. It's up on the contour....almost up to the seal for the tops. Even all the armor out there stops short of that contour.....all except the HyLine. I'll snap a pic of the damage when I put em on. It's not terrible at all....most would laugh, but it's a good enough dent the paint cracked and is coming off, and in general it pisses me off when I see it. My jeep has it's fair share of dents and such....but this one really gets to me.

Yeah I had one for 2 weeks before I took a step back and went, "Jesus, what was I thinkin'!!!" Mine left a dent in the a-pillar as well (from the wire getting clamped between the sheet metal and bracket). I'm surprised none of my buddies flamed me while I had it...

Just an idea, but you could modify one of the cheap light bar brackets on Amazon; Weld on a little extension, build up the welds on the seams and contour with a flapper wheel to give it a similar look. Could save yourself $120 depending on how much free time you have. If you decide it's not your style, you'd only be out $30 (or whatever the cheapest light bar brackets on Amazon are right now). I recently built a Rotopax container bracket/holder for my Genright during a weekend. Same "kit" Rebel sells for $120, cost me $20 and some time doing what I love
