Hypertech gear ratio adjustment

Does anyone know the details of what the tuner does if you change the gear ratio?

IT tells the computer what ratio you are running so the speedo, tach, and odometer are correct.

When I did the tune with 410 gears and 33.5 tires my speedo way off. I had to tell it the tires are 32.25 tall to make the speedo rite and it didn't change the shift points enough that I could tell anyway.

You can change them but it is a down load thing and that over my head. I have never done the 93 octane tune so I don't know about that.
