Default Hypertech Max Energy

I am having my 5.13 put in my Rubi as I speak and was wondering if anyone has any experience with using the Hypertech Max Energy tuning device to fine tune the Rubi once I get it back. I found someone to sell it to me new fro 179.00 which is cheap!!! Any feedback would be helpful

I have the hypertech and I'd actually recommend getting the aev procal if you want something cheap to change the settings for your gears and tire size, I think its 129-139ish. I myself will be getting the Superchips flashpaq it lets you change a lot more, like the tire pressure sensor monitoring, fan temp control, more power and still has the tire size and gear changes also.

the hypertech is easy to use its pretty self explanatory, you choose tire size, gear setting, thermostat temp change, which is useless unless you actually change your thermostat, and you choose 87 or 93 octane fuel.

So was it worth it? Sounds like you are upgrading to the Superchips, whats the benefit of the other changes you could make?

I used a Hypertech Max Energy. At the time it was the only option that did more than just adjust adjust for larger tires and gears. The Hypertech has been fine, but if I did it today I'd probably go with the Superchips, because it lets you use the lockers in 4HI.
