How will customers be able to tell that their part will be the updated one when ordering from a vendor?

It sounds like you go on-line and download the update to get the current version.

It also sounds like if this gets all straightened out, it might go onto my X-Mas list.

I assume you have tested it with after market intakes and exhaust as well? I think most people that buy a programmer are going to also have these two simple mods done also.
Do you think we will feel a difference?

Yeah, its all about torque at low rpm....

Is that a tuning option?

Does anyone know if this allows us to adjust shift points like other Max Energy units do?

Food for thought. Jeep (Chrysler) used a Buick V6 in 69, they used a heavy flywheel for torque purposes. A good deal heavier than for stock automobile version of the engine. It was good at developing torque down low. Not sure if there are similar aftermarket options. I also don't know if there are any differences between our engines and the same ones in the Van.

Not really, A heavier flywheel will decrease engine torque but it will increase inertia and make it harder to stall. Lighter flywheel will allow the engine to make more torque and horsepower as it is not wasted moving the extra mass thus increased acceleration.
