I bent my tailpipe - what should I do?
I bent my tailpipe at the far rear while off- roading. Squished it about 75% closed. It was not completely closed but I pried it back open with some pliers and small crow bar. It still is bent up a little but I figure it will just get bent again in the future so I will leave as is.
Should I replace it because of gas mileage, engine issues, etc.? I don’t seem to have any negative consequences, gas mileage seems the same and response seems the same.
Should I just cut the far end off - the part past the muffler?

Same exact thing had happened to me quite awhile back... I met up with a few other forum members for a meet and greet, and one of them happened to have some heavy-duty pliers and whatnot in his toolchest in the back of his Jeep - 2 minutes of his effort (THANKS CHOPPER!) got my tailpipe 95% back to "new" condition.

You'll be fine. I unbolted my muffler for about 8k miles, and never had any problem with fumes. The simple fact is that vehicles today have a lot of emissions equipment that cleans up the exhaust a lot before it makes it to the back.
Your correct about the emissions. A guy in florida tried to kill himself by running his car engine in the garage. Wife finds him the next morning sleeping in the front seat of the car with the engine still on. He was fine... little sleepy, but fine.
