Default I dont't know what to do next! Help

I have a 2007 X 2dr. I have a 4" Rancho lift and 35" pro comp mud extremes on 18" rims. I have hyper tech tuner and k&n cold air intake. I also have a Kargo master roof rack and cage. Today I just put on a new bumper from jeepswag. I haven't done anything else. I haven't done much offroading since I am just not sure what my jeep can handle. I want to go off roaring more and would like some advice on what I should do.

I know there are some small mods to do that maybe important I just don't know what they are. I have been driving on these 35's for about 25k miles now. I am pretty sure I need to get new gears, I'm running the stock 3.23 or what ever they are. They are very tall gears. I keep holding off on the gears because I thought I should do that when I have the money for lockers as well. I'm getting to the point to where I want to pull the trigger on those gears with out the lockers. My new bumper is ready for a winch.

I'm looking for help prioritizing and generating my list of mods. So I can get the most out of my jeep.

I think the first thing on my list is a spare tire I don't have one. I also need a jack.

Any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated. Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place I'm a newb. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't even drive on-road without a spare and a jack, much less leave the pavement. You can get an AEV jack base that will give your stock jack enough boost to lift your 35's, but if you're liking the accesories check out a High Lift jack. Then go find some dirt and put your jeep in 4wd and start learning what she'll do. There's plenty of fun to be had without testing your ability to get stuck but best to go with another 4x4 and carry a recovery strap in case you just can't resist.

On the other hand, there's plenty of chrome trim....

Best of luck!

Thanks I am looking for more than just accessories. I have gotten in the dirt a few times luckily haven't been stuck. I was thinking of certain essential relocation brackets as well as some bigger upgrades.

I'm in the same boat. Except here is my priority list...

I wanted tires first. You got that

Then bumpers. So next for you I'd do winch and rear bumper tire carrier.

Then underbody protection. Diff covers oil skid evap skid and rocker guards.

This is my plan. Hope it helps you maybe. If you ever have money sitting around and you have done all the mods you want/need you can always throw a hemi in it

I got jks front disconnects. I also got a hi-lift extreme. Some tow straps and shackles and all those boring recovery items. I even got a spare tire!!! What should I get next? Axels? Or just gears? I really want a winch but can winch with my jack. I'd also like some lights.

On a side note I went out with my buddy and he has a tj with straight 6. He has all kinds of extras new axles better gearing and such. The weird thing was I was dominating on all sorts of things. Even climbing and that struck me as weird since I have 3.23. The only thing where I had him beat was my tires 35s vs his 33s. I don't know if I am just a better driver or if the jk really is better than a fully loaded tj. Any insight is appreciated.
(maybe I just have bigger balls and that made the difference)

With the lift and tires you have great ground clearance so that helps. If you dont know how well your jeep can do, test it out! Find you limits, but have the means (other jeeps or winch) to get yourself unstuck. I ran a stock rubi for 3 1/2 yrs, I know wow! But I got to learn what my jeep can handle and that made me a better driver.

Plus you live near LB, go to the next suds n grub this month. Pick peoples brains and make new friends! In the SoCal Section there are runs being posted all the time, join one!

Overall test it out and have fun!
