Default I need your opinion guys

Ok, so heres the deal, I have a 07 jk, and want to lift it I have two choices,
Choice one, Wait another year till i have more money and get a Black diamond 3'inch, Black Street lock wheels, and 35's. or...
Right now, get a Black diamond 3'inch left, and 35's, but keep my stock 17'inch wheels that came on the X
or Go teraflex 2.5 BB, and get tires, and wheels, but idk if i wanna do that bec. i like the higher jeeps more, and wanna do bumpers, and winch and all that and dont wanna deal with the sag. so i guess its between the top two.....Opinions

im pretty much set on BD, and the 3'inch lift. cant afford the drive shafts, and cv's right now. you get more than 3 inches with the BD anyways. its just a decision of the now with no wheels...or wait and get wheels

IMO - Do it in phases:

Wheels with backspace and wider tires - you can fit 33's with no lift... Wait until you have the funds and install the lift you want...

Then wait a bit longer and replaces the tires as you use'em up with the bigger ones.

I tried the stock wheels and bigger tires and was dissappointed. The wheels with backspace allowed for a wider tire and more footpriint without having to do a lift...

Who knows - you may decide some other options are workable instead of a lift - fenders, body lift and still be able to run 35's...

I would lift now, and keep the stock rims. You can always upgrade them at a later time if you don't really care for them, but they are functional for now, and you can have the lift at the same time. Let us know what you decide.

if it was me I think I would do the BB with the tires and wheels you want now. I'm younger so. The instant gratification thing may be a factor but I think the BB is just an awesome way to get what you want for cheaper. I mean you can always get a little more lift later and already rock the wheels and tires you want. It's only .5 inch of lift anyway. But there's reasoning behind each side I think.

That's what I did though. Started with 3" fabtech lift and then converted to. 5" when I could afford it. Only now I want 37"a LOL.

My thoughts. do it right the first time. i have a BB and i am moving to a 4" lift. i wasted my time and money on the 2.5 and 33s, i could have saved that money and be at the 4" and 35s already but that whole i want it now thing and my 29" stockers were in the back of my mind.

some people like the 2.5 and 33s, but if you plan on anything bigger than that just save the money
