Default I Screwed Up!

Finally installed my 3" FT ultimate lift and 35" tires, thanks to WOL's write up. But I didn't follow the directions completely. Instead of turning the drag link to straighten the steering wheel I turned the tie rod . Big screw up. I got the toe-in back as close as I can and the steering wheel as staight as I can. But now the ESP BAS light is on and won't shut off. I'm taking the Jeep in tomorrow to have it computer aligned at a 4wd shop. Has anyone had a problem with the ESP BAS light? I called the dealership and they said they have heard of this problem with other lifted JK's but don't have a fix for it yet.

Oh man, bummer about the mix up but I'm glad you were able to figure things out. Regarding the ESP/BAS light, is it safe to assume you have a 2-door? Either way, once you get everything aligned just right, it shouldn't give you any more troubles.

X2, 7,000 miles on the lift and ESP only came on maybe 6 times. and that was within the first week or so..
