Default I thought I had wheel sizing all figured out......

....until I pulled up for work and in the parking lot next to me was a Jeep on 35 Toyos.

I had my setup in my head and ready to purchase as soon as the 16x8 ProComp 8179s came in....

285/75/16 (33's) , still look aggressive, less performance hit, no regearing necessary....CHEAPER

Then I see that beauty....and now I am back to square one....

Tell me about it. I went with 33"s for the same reasons and luckily I don't have many modded jks around my area. When I lifted mine I was in love with it and got tons of looks and compliments and swelled with pride. Then one day parked at the mall and this guy had his on 37"s and it was like my jeep wasn't even in the parking lot. As long as I don't see any bigger ones I'm happy but when I do I find myself holding my credit card and wanting.

I don't see why you just can't like what you like and not be ashamed of it. I'm gonna go with either 32s or 33s and I won't give a damn if somebody pulls next to me with 44s, cause I'm gonna do mine the way "I" want it.

No problem with that.... I thought I liked 33's too.... Then my wife told me I didnt like my 33's and I needed 35's.... I mean if you think about it, thats not bad... and it does look better with the 35's.

I totally agree. Decide what YOU need/want. The grass is always greener on the other side and someone ALWAYS has a bigger jeep.

I originally wanted 33's, but then I went wheelin a few times and came to the conclusion that 33's will not get me where I want to go without alot of scrapin and banging. So I ended up with 35's and I am completely happy. But I do admit, I still lust after 37's from time to time.....

If you think that you may want 35's, get them now or you won't be satsified.
I have 35's and find myself wanting 37's, no, not to out do anyone else, but because that's what I want. All that I can say is.......the heart wants what the heart wants. Anyway, for me it's never ending. I'm constantly wanting to spend money and change something out, it's the Jeep curse. Isn't it Great! I just need to hide my kids college fund.

Look, if you have a short tire...you can go for an augmentation, or just use what meats you have the best you can.

Of course, all the girls love a bigger tire, but when it comes to actually getting down and dirty...technique can mean more than the size of the meat for getting the job done.

Besides, if you are always looking at the other guys meat, its kind of creepy.

Hilarious

35's here...enough to make you want to regear, but no need to demand a larger lift, driveshaft, or any other costly goodies.
