Default Idea PSI for 33" tires?

I have 33" Mickey Thompson ATZ P3s on Rugged Ridge 17" wheels. The EVIC wants my tire pressure to be 35 PSI, so that is what the dealer put them at. But my wife and I have both noticed the ride is a bit rougher since the new shoes went on.

What would be a better operating pressure for this daily driver?

Bring it down to 30 and play around between 28 and 32 to seel what it feels like for you. A chalk test will give you the actual "ideal" psi for any width tire on any width rim (provided they are not already worn funny.

X2 on the chalk test. Every 33" tire will be a little different on every rig due to sidewall strength/stiffness and the weight of the rig. When I had 33s the chalk test put them at 35 psi, others are right on at 30-32 psi.

Default same for 35's?

Is that the same for 35's? Right now my 315x70r-17 are at 50psi set at the tire shop. This seems a little high to me but have never run and e class truck tire, except on a truck and that was ok. Would 30-35psi be better? Just dont want them to be under inflated.

Ya buddy lol. I only run my 315's at 30psi. Even the previous 35psi felt stiff. But im running e rated toyos. On my f350 with same tire i run 35-40psi.
