It could have been done for the same cost, but im in a similar boat to you in a way. My rear just wasnt wide enough and I did like dirt did and cut the frame out. I havent
gotten much water or anything thru it but it drives me up a wall. I thought I could make it work and chose wrong and at that point i said **** it and hacked the body up... Should have went wider. I also dont know what im going to do on the hole yet. I havent put much thought into it for a long while, but winters getting here

I got a fix for the side but the bottom floor as you have is also my problem.

*Note to haters disregard all the fubar in this picture, this was early stages and alot has changed and more will*

But it feels great on road and the suspension travel works well but the rear trac bar and gas tank dont let it perform at 100%. I have not ridden in a JK with the outboard coilovers but I have in the Evo cantilever and Rebel and Evo bolt ons, and stability with this setup is not an issue at least for me or my wife. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=627972"/>
I hear you. However, you have a mess of a situation with the holes in the rear. In addition, you could have frenched the frame for free. We're talking $50 in steel to brace it and build covers on the interior. No more than the tube work you have.
