I am finishing up my install on a york compressor and everything works great, however it doesn't push as much air as it should. Any ideas on how to get the idle up a bit at a stand still without stepping on the skinny peddle? I used to have a bike shifter hooked up to my TJ, but there is no cable to the throttle body like on a TJ.
Thanks in advance!

Programmers like the AEV Pro Cal offer a high idle setting that you can program for winching and using the compressor. I got mine used from a forum member for around $90. Keep an eye out for them, they go really fast.
Good luck

Superchips also has an idle up mode... You have to have it plugged in at the time of use though
Or! you could get the old TF throttle finger control and fab a bracket for it and have control over your throttle from in the cab....maybe?

So how do you use the computer controlled unit to up the idle without pluggin it in? Since pretty much the only time I'm going to use it will be coming off a trail. One thing I was thinking is to run a thumb throttle to the top part of the gas peddle since you cant run it to the throttle body. That way it pulls on the gas peddle as if you were actually stepping on it. Any YORK users (ORO or Kilby's) revving the motor when airing up tires? Or are you just using it at idle?

The AEV program will allow you to adjust the idle as well noted above using the the dimmer switch to set the idle speed or find a set up used on a land cruiser. They used a pull out cable that you could twist to lock the throttle.
