Good to know. I was looking at doing 33" AT's to save a ton money, but I hate regretting things and definitely hate wasting money.

Default Replace my old Tire Carrier and Bumper

I would have bought a swing out tire carrier/bumper combo.... instead of a bumper and a separate tire carrier that both need to be replaced, because they don't meet my needs! I can't stand the rattling!

Should have done more research when I bought EVO skid plates. No doubt they will protect my under carriage but the fit was not that great and needed to be modified so the crossmember skid would not rattle and the transmission skid would fit. Not bad though.

I should not have wasted the money on windshield lights...... Pointless for GA trails.

Shoulda locked the rear diff as one of the first mods.
X 2!

Don't be in a hurry to lift your rig just to fit bigger tires. Suspension is so much a part of enjoying jeeps. Go ahead and lift your jeep properly so the geometry is correct. Don't waste the money (and more important, the labor, of a spacer lift. I wish I'd gotten a spring kit with track bars and control arms.

I'm happy with the 35", wouldn't go bigger.

I'm happy with the AT. Had BFGoodrich, and now the Mickey Thompson MTZ.
Contrary to what some say, the AT, aired-down to between 15 - 20 psi according to the trail type, grab very well.

When I installed the Full Traction 4" lift, the EVO bolt-on coilovers wasn't available.
If those coilovers were available, I'd have had a dilemma... -- but may have ended up with the Full Traction coils anyway.
Very pleased with how it works on & off road.

I regretted one mod on my previous JKU – the dual battery isolator.
It was fully electronic. Once in a while, it shut itself off. The heat under the hood was too much for it, so its thermal protection kicked in.
Solved it by moving the isolator out of the engine bay, but it meant long thick wires, while they're supposed to be as short as possible.

This time, for the Rubi, it's a Solenoid-based Red Arc smart battery isolator (rated 200 Amp continuous), which is suitable for hot climate.

I have Hella 4000's on the bumper with HID conversion. I'd be happier with a flood light that puts out a color closer to my stock fogs and Hella H4 headlamps. Maybe Dually D2's on the bumper in place of the HID lights.

Aside from that, I am very happy with my mods, though I will continue to improve what I have.
