I would change my bumpers, I started my build in 2007 with a new JK and choices and suppliers were limited. The one I picked was not very well made.

I cut four 4" holes in the hood for louvers. Should have just installed a mechanical fan instead.

Should have spent the money for a real lift and not the inexpensive one I went with.

Should have never used cam bolts on the front end.

Should have installed "C" gussets earlier.

Should have relocated the factory steering stabilized instead of an after market one.

Need I go on? :-)

should of started out with a nice complete lift kit like RK or TF. My original aweful RC lift is gone and I've pieced my current 3.25" lift together. I was able to use some of the best top notch parts, but expensive in the long run. Wasted $325 on the cheap RC lift

I should have read up on jeeps before ordering. I ordered first and fucked up getting color matching fenders and top. Then I made better decisions ordering parts with larger tires but if I could do it over I'd change my rims too. My Jeep is in and I pick it up tomorrow. I ordered MC 3.5" lift bumpers and shocks with 36" tires.

Aside from that, I am very happy with my mods, though I will continue to improve what I have.
What color temp are your hid? My 50w hid converted hella look really close to my stocks. 4300k.

As for the question, I would have gone with a teraflex 2.5" spring lift with 9550 shocks and lower arms.

X2

Should have done more research on the four wheeling opportunities in my area, I live in a relatively new location and didn't realize that there was a really active 4x4 club and some great trails

If I had known that I definitely would have gotten a rubicon for the lockers etc.

I'm doing great with my sport with 3.21's and 33" Duratrac's but I'm going to miss out on a couple of jeep jamborees I wanted to go on because they require at least one locker for some of their trails

Looked like it was in a precarious location, especially if you do any real wheeling!
