Good question. I really like the look without the door surrounds and having the tops unbolted. Going naked is a must...

So I took the carpet out last night. So easy to do. I pulled the soft top off and put the bikini top and trunk cover on. I'm using the original floor mats for now until I order the slush mats. Spyderweb Shades are here in Orlando, I' ran over today and pick one up. The customer service was awesome. They helped me put it on and it rides great.

Short term wish list:

Slush Mats - $75 Amazon prime
Bestop Trail Cover - $150 Amazon prime
??Quadratop Emergency Top - $120 Quadratech

I line-xed the interior of my jk...love it! I leave the rubber mats in the rear cargo area for my dogs to grip while they are in there. Great investment.

I agree, i hate the door surrounds. Would sure be nice if there was a way to put the top on without them.

Do yourself a favor, bag that bestop trail cover. Get the rain gear from jeep cover dot com.

Waaaaay better, more versatile cover for a few bucks more.

I never heard of those until now. They have great reviews. Great price too. I wonder which to get. The one that fits with the top or without. I'm sure the with the top version would work with the top on the Jeep. (I think....)

Stay away from Smittybilt I just put a replacement soft top and upper half doors from them on my little sisters TJ and it is a piece of shit but since her other top was ripped, rear window stuck closed and the drivers side upper door was broke it will at least keep her warm and dry

I had their cover for 7 years on my tj. Great cover with lots of room to cover any top and door configuration you have. They took too long to release a jk cover and I was forced to go bestop. It's nowhere near as good. Call them and see what the difference is, but their design is just better. My bestop is tearing already from being tight after only a year. I won't even warranty it when it goes, just getting the rain gear. Bestop makes fantastic stuff, they just missed the mark with the trail cover.
