Default Inexpensve coils?

I have the TeraFlex 2.5" BB right now. I have their 9550 shocks, longer sway bar links, track bar relocator and front disconnects all installed. I am thinking of pulling the spacers out and throwing some 3" coils in there. When I look at their 3" suspension kit, it is everything that I have already. To just buy the coils from Northridge is $550+ for the TF springs. Is there any reason that I would not just get another coil to throw in there? how different are they option that justify the higher costs? What recommendations do you have for me?

Are you sure that's an accurate price on the TF coils?

The OME coils are about half that and work great.

I had the same dilemna some time ago. Wanted to upgrade the Tera BB with coils only, and was mystified why the coils alone were so much. I had all the rest of the pieces (minus shocks), and adding coils (and shocks) cost more than the 2.5" coil suspension with everything else...

Ended up going with the OME springs and shocks, and kept most of the rest of the TF BB pieces in place (swaybar links, bumpstops, brake line brackets) for not too much $$.

When you say OME springs, you're talking about OLD MAN EMU right? If so, which model number springs are they? I have the 2.5" TF BB with the shocks and just want to yank the 2.5" spacers and throw coils in. I was going to throw the 2.5" TF coils in, but they run $222.00 a pair at 4 wheel parts. can I go a little longer than 2.5" with the current parts from the TF 2.5 BB? Like the 3" one from OME?

Thanks
