Default Input please, search isn't working.

2012 JKU Sport S, 33's or 35's? I don't want to do any moding to the axel, I also have the RK 2.5 stock mod with Bilstien 5100, extended brake lines and bump stops. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

35's I would say for sure. I think 35's are the right size for JK's and you will look at your 33's everyday wishing you had 35's if you went that route. Thats my option for what its worth.

What BS do you have on your wheels?

If this is strictly a mall crawler you should be fine not doing anything to your axles. If you're going to play around in the rocks with it, you should look at doing gussets and possibly sleeves.

The 35s will look better but if you're going to play in the rocks with it and you're not willing to do gussets then you should go with 33s.

I mean I guess it depends what you plan on doing. If your extreme rock crawling then no I guess not, but if its your DD and you do some ovation offloading you will be fine. I ran 35's on my 2010 sport for then entire time I had it with no issues.

I'll most likely be running the stock 17's, I do like to play in the rocks a bit- about three to four times a year. Do you know how much c's and gussets are and whats involved on installing them?

To run 35s on a stock wheel you will need to install at least 1.5" wheel spacers.

Personally, I would recommend installing gussets whenever moving up 35s because the stock c's are easy to bend.

Gussets cost in the range of $50 - $100 and shouldn't run more than about $200 to have a welder weld them on.

You do have to take precaution when welding on the gussets because the heat from welding can ruin your ball joints. So you will have to take it easy and swap from side to side and keep a wet cloth on the ball joints to keep the heat down. Or you could weld them on and just replace the ball joints afterwards (about another $200 for BJs).

Depends how hard you use it. I would have gussets welded on at a bare minimum.
