Default Input on prices for welding labor of gussets needed

I finally got my 35's last week and now have some evo's gussets on the way and am curious as to what some of yall think is a good total price for labor and how long it generally takes??

There's a shop close to my house that does a lot of fab work and their labor rate is $85 hour. I'm going to try and go the ice water rag on the balljoint route as I don't have money to replace them as this time.

OR would it be better to wait till I can afford to get it all done at the same time??

Thanks for any input

Yeah that's what I was thinking too.

A friend of a friend runs a garage, but they don't have anybody who welds there so I'm still looking for a reasonably priced place

I did mine with a friend and he charged me $70 total for gas and wire. Took us about 2 hours. Seemed worth it to me since he has a lift and air tools for the prep work. I did the ice water rags too and no issues

Haha fuggg I'd gladly pay $85/hour...I pay EVO $110/hour for labor, they are the JK masters though, would never second guess their work!!

I wish I had a friend that cool.

Also, glad the ice water rag deal worked, I'm definitely going to go that route.
