It's only down fail is no Sirius/XM Satellite radio. There fix since it's running Android 4.2 and you can install any of the apps from Google play is to install the Sirius Internet Radio app. Which I have commented is only good for Mall Crawlers since I have no cell service where I take my Jeep.

That right there just turned me from a potential buyer to one who has decided to pass. Thanks for the info!

why would this unit be useful if you already have a 430n or the other factory offerings that have the screen and nav and sat radio? what does it do that my 430n does not?

They need to drop that price big time. Its WAY overpriced. They claim to be the manufacturer of those units but I have yet to see any manufacturing floor. The company is registered to John Decoster who also owns Psychotropic Industries INC. Both are registered to what seems to be an address in Malibu CA. 2 employees and an average income of $130,000-$150,000... which suggests they do NOT manufacture them as they claim.

Looking at products with similar specs and design would show that they are manufactured in China and the only thing Insane Audio does is put on its own custom apps/wallpaper etc.

The base hardware is around $300 on ebay.
No app is worth $700.

**Edited**

I have decided to remove the response from InsaneAudio to my question I posted on their facebook. I asked for proof that they manufacture in the USA in order to ensure proper product support as well as company support (GO USA!). I am going to remain skeptical on the product till its been proven (through others continued long term use or from the company) but also going to support them in their venture if it is real. It has great potential even if it looks like other products, it doesnt mean it is.
