Default Install Question.

I'm installing my 1.75 front spacers this week, (EDIT: and .75 inch in the rear) will I need a spring compressor (don't know that technical name) to reinstall the springs or will they just pop back into place?

Also, I got some sway bar discos for a 2-3 inch lift, will these work with the 1.75 boost or will they be too long?

How much do I need to torque everything to (the shock bolts, sway bar bolts)? Don't want anything falling off or to be stuck.

Thanks.

first off, no, you will not need spring compressors. second, you should be fine with the longer links but, you will need to make sure that you either have wheel spacers installed or new wheels with less back spacing. without them, your rear tires will rub the sidewalls on the link ends. last but not least, here is a link that will help you out on your install:

Oops...you just scared me here (as I read everything that pops up on a lift install). Are you saying that all lifts have to have spaces or different wheels to avoid rubbing, or is this something else you are referring to that has to do with the longer links? Since I am doing a 2.5" RC Spring lift, nothing has been said about needing to change out wheels. Please clarify. Thanks.

Hey WOL,

Im only installing a .75 in the rear, will the tires still rub with that set up? I didn't even think of them rubbing.
