Default Installed 2015 10A Rubicon Wheels on a 2009 and...

Now the TPMS light keeps going off. I am assuming the wheel sensors between the 2009 and 2015s are different. My question is I am running these tires at 37 psi will having the TPMS sensor triggered cause any other problems? I would rather not spend another 300 to get pressure sensors for all the wheels installed when I am getting new tires in 1 year and 4 months.

Thanks

The radio frequency is different for the 2015 compared to your 2009.

Having the warning illuminated will have no effect on anything else.

I bought 5 new sensors for my 2008 for about $39 each. Had them installed at no extra cost when I bought new tires.
