Default Installed Kilby EVA Relocation Kit, now getting P0456 Engine Check Code

about 40 days ago, I installed Kilby EVA relocation kit. My JK was running as usual.
But today, I got a engine check light on and the DTC cod reads

P0456 - EVAP PURGE SYSTEM SMALL LEAK

So, besides re tightening all the hoses, what else should I do to solve this issue?

When you removed the large rectangular piece on the back, did you see a small rubber gasket? It is easy too loose / misplace. If it is not in there it will throw that code.

This is why I just went with a good skid plate. I did notice however, when I did mine that the washer mentioned tended to drop off the plastic connector and you had to make an effort to ensure it was in place prior to twisting the connector back on.

Re tightened fuel cap, after driving around 70 miles, this code is gone.

I guess I am good now.

What large rectangular piece do you mean? I'm having this issue too and I relocated too. Thanks in advance!

Yeap, had the same code. Bought a new fuel cap and all was good.
