Installed my Rough Country Steering Stabilizer..
So I installed my Rough Country Steering Stabilizer today. I got the single one that goes on the drivers side and mounts above the tie rod. I did not get the dual because I am not lifted so it won't fit.
A couple of questions..
1. In order for me to clear the drag link at full lock, I had to mount the stabilizer going the reverse direction than in the instructions. Is this okay? I also had to tilt the nuts on the collar for the drag link upward to clear the stabilizer, this is okay?
2. When turning the wheels back and forth to full lock, the stabilizer JUST clears the drag link. Is this okay or do the tie rod and drag link "compress" closer together when hitting bumps and dips on the road? I test drove it and did not feel it anything that would suggest contact..
Thanks for the help!

If I were you , I'd disco and flex the frt out to see if anything hits, that'll tell you more. I don't think it matters which way you have the hydro stab. mounted, it'll do it's job either way. I flipped my superlift stabilizer several times, to tery to keep it from getting dented so bad. It worked either way stab wise but not clearance wise when discoed.

Pushing on the bumper it does not make contact and I drove it all day today and see no dents or signs of contact..
I did have to lose that plate with their logo on it, it was hitting.
Also will a beefier stabilizer like this put too much stress on my power steering pump?

i messed with mine for days to get it not to hit...it still rubs a little when wheeling hard....i called RC a few times, they said just keep moving it around till it clears....sorry, but that's what they told me.
MIne clears, I am just wondering about when going over bumps since I am not lifted and its very close.
Also I am worried that it will put too much stress on the power steering pump, anyone have any ideas on that?
