Installing front adjustable lower control arms
Ok I bought my 2009 JK 4door and I was it had a 4 inch lift on it, my question is how do I set the control arms? How do I know when I've adjusted them enough?
Go up to the write-ups area, there is an index at the top, find the DIY Alignment link. That method uses a cheap angle finder gauge. While it isn't nearly as accurate as an alignment machine, it will get you in the ballpark.
You will be making the front lowers slightly longer than stock, which will tilt the pinion down, and raise the caster.

23* is a good starting point for lowers at 4" of lift Set 23" eye to eye and replace one at a time. Leave the bolts loose till both are in. Then torque to 125
Use the flat circles on each side of the differential to read pinion. Knowing pinion will give you caster.
4" is high so I wouldn't try to run a boat load of caster. Shoot for stock 4* or so. (Pinion +2*)
Drive ... If there's a vibes you might have to turn them back.
* make sure you are on flat ground when replacing arms, torquing and taking measurements
