Default installing a lift kit. how hard

i am curious how hard it is to install a lift kit. i am looking to put a 4 inch lift on my 07 4 door rubicon. i installed my 2.5 inch budget boost with no issues. would just like to hear your thoughts. i do consider myself mechanically inclinded and have access to a very stock garage. dont get jealous i have to pay to use the garage.

You can handle it, just make sure you have a couple tall sets of Jack stands, and a floor Jack.

Read wayoflifes write up for the full-traction ultimate kit, it's good basics for any short arm kit

If you can do a bb, you can do a spring lift. Just take your time and an extra pair of hands is always good to have, whether they know anything or not about mechanics.

Also, spring compressors are great to have . I 've helped put on a bunch lifts and get alotta use outta mine. Plus it makes it easier on your own jk if you have to pull the springs again for some reason.

You can do it. The springs and alignment are the hardest parts. It's not the cake walk that some people say it is, but installing a lift is doable for a shade tree mechanic.
