Default Installing RR JK snorkel, need help

Hey guys, just started installing RR JK snorkel (the aluminum second generation), and have few questions.
Instructions calls to remove: fender flare, battery and antenna. Is that right? I understand the need for battery removal, but do I really need to remove fender flare and antenna? If so how the heck do you remove antenna? I don't think I can reach to the bolts that hold it on the inside of the fender.

Can't believe nobody here installed RR JK snorkel before :-(.

Anyway, I did install it last night, ended up taking off battery, fender wheel inline, and of course antenna, but didn't need to take off fender flare.

Question about antenna, where do you guys route antenna to after your RR JK install?

I thought about doing it, but was wondering how much of rattle I get from doing it.
