Default Which intake

I want to make a purchase on an intake tonight, but i'm not sure which one. I like the dry ones just because I've had five K&N filters, (two 600CC bikes, and three previous vehicles) and know the oil always does go past the filter. I'm not sure which one is better for my driving style, the AEM or True Flow. I very rarely take the jk past 2.2 k or so with my 6speed, so I wanted to know your guys opinions on which one will help me gain the best results down low.
Thanks

My opinion:
I don't think you can see any improvement at lower rpm's because there isn't much air flow through the engine. A less restrictive intake (which will pass more dirt) will make a difference only when the engine is rev'ing high and needs a little more air for that last bit of hp.

My biggest thing is to get rid of the initial lack of power right when you press the pedal.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. If I haven't done anything but a BB and some 285/70/17s, will a programmer still help get rid of that initial lack of power?

I really like my CAI by K&N,not your favorite, but besides that, yes the cold air intake does make a difference at the bottom of the pedal
They say it gives 8 to 15hp not sure about that, but you will notice a difference, still not a rocket
I just happen to get my intake for a smoking deal form an off road shop here
If you ask me they are a little over priced,I'm thinking of adding the jet chip next

I have the True>Flow XDI And I am very, very happy with it! Works well. No oil in intake tube. and its sounds wicked when you get on it!

Does it offer any gains right when you press the pedal?

It was my understanding from a supplier that the True Flow was an oiled filter? Only AEM and AFE had a dry filter right now?

I installed a CAI a week before I had a custom exhaust put in and I know the two combined gave me alot more power/responsiveness than the intake alone. I also looked for which intakes yield the best gains down low cause I never take it above 3k unless im on the freeway. From what i found airaid gave the best low end power gains, however it is a traditional oil'n gauze filter element. I couldn't imagine the filter being as important as the design of the actual intake tube though, seems like most filters are all hi-flow. So I suppose you could do a lil frankintake by using the airaid intake with a dry filter from afe? Either way I strongly recommend visiting a local exhaust shop and have them reroute your exhaust out the driver side. The magnaflow round muffler fits perfect just behind the driver seat. goodluck
