Default Intake noise

I just wanted to know if anyone else out there with a cad system on there intake has the same whistle as I do. And to give anyone some background it is still there when I took off everything and just ran it down the road?

I have a whistle. The whistle is there with the stock air box too, but it is more muffled. I think this is fairly common at least with the earlier models.

I don't think it would be worth it unless you just want to. I took mine apart, but couldn't find what I believed to the the cause, so I just put it all back together. Mine only whistles between like 1900 to 2500 RPM and under load. In park it will not whistle.

Oh, and welcome to JK-Forum.

I'm sure there is something, I'm just not sure what it is.

My Airaid does it too, but it doesn't really bother me anymore.

Yea, my airaid does it too, I guess maybe it will work like those stick-on horn shaped deals you put on your bumper to scare the animals away from crossing the road in front of you!!!!!!

Has it as well, you will get used to it. Bothered the heck out of me for a bit but I'm over it....but still love the sound when I jump on it. Went from sounding like a mouse in a shoe box to a pissed off Gorilla in a cage.
